U.P. Lawmakers Miss Few Votes

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Upper Michigan lawmakers missed a total of 16 votes in the last legislative session in Lansing.

MichiganVotes.org, says Michigan’s 38 senators and 110 representatives missed a combined 1,626 votes in 2014.

The 2014 Legislature held 1,747 roll call votes, 936 in the Senate and 811 in the House.

According to the report, State Senator Tom Casperson missed 5 votes, 108th District Representative Ed McBroom missed 0 votes, 110th District Representative Scott Dianda missed 1 and 109th District Representative John Kivela missed 10.

Three senators and three representatives missed 50 or more votes while five senators and 76 representatives missed no votes.
