Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting coming up this evening.
Commissioners will be holding public hearings on proposed changes to the city’s fireworks ordinance and the proposed six-year Capital Improvement Plan.
They are also expected to take final action on hiring a lobbying firm to represent the city in Lansing.
Also on the docket is a discussion of the land use plan for the U.S. Coast Guard lighthouse property that was recently acquired by the city.
The meeting gets underway at 7:00 p.m. at Commission Chambers at City Hall in Marquette.
