Hancock, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A Houghton County man who was arrested after a knife fight last summer in Hancock has been sentenced.

27-year-old Joseph Schreiber of Hancock was sentenced yesterday to one year in jail and two years of probation.

He was arrested after a fight with 29-year-old Andrew Rohrer over an amount of marijuana in June.

Schreiber received credit for 66 days already served and must also pay up to $2,000 in restitution.
