Escanaba, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Two people were injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident yesterday in Delta County.

It happened around 8:30 last night on M-35 near the Ford River when a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Misti Stewart of downstate Wolverine crossed the center line, left the roadway, hit a tree and rolled over.

Stewart was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by responders.

A passenger, 37-year-old Dana Gilley, also of Wolverine, was injured in the crash as well.

Both were taken to UP Health System-Marquette for treatment.

Their conditions are not known at this time.

The accident remains under investigation.
