Negaunee Township, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – State Police at Regional Dispatch in Negaunee say telephone outages that were being reported yesterday over a wide area of the U.P. have been repaired.
The service outages appear to have been isolated to long distance calls via land lines.
Authorities say that 9-1-1 service and cell phone calls were not affected.
The cause of the long-distance phone service disruptions is not known at this time.
