Downstate Man Injured In Car-Snowmobile Crash

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Ishpeming City Police responded to a car-snowmobile accident yesterday evening.
The accident happened just after 5:30 p.m. on US-41 at Lakeshore Drive when a snowmobile, operated by 34-year-old Michael Logan of Oakland, Michigan, was struck by a westbound vehicle while attempting to cross the highway.
Police say witnesses told them a car, driven by 71-year-old Eva Goodreau, of Greenland, Michigan, ran a red light and struck the snowmobile.
Hogan was taken to UP Health System-Marquette for treatment and is in serious condition.
The accident is under investigation and will be reviewed by the Marquette County Prosecutor’s office when completed.
