Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Detectives with the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team are reporting the seizure of over 300 marijuana plants at a growing operation in northern Marquette County.

The growing operation was located by authorities in a wooded location near Big Bay this week following an anonymous tip.

According to reports, it has yet to be determined whether the property the plants were found on is private or not.

UPSET will be doing aerial surveillance of the location and further details are expected to be released later. No arrests have been made at this time.
