Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A Schoolcraft County man who was facing a series of federal drug charges agreed this week to a plea deal.

37-year-old Jason Gregurash of Manistique pleaded guilty to one count of attempting to manufacture 50 or more marijuana plants under the agreement.

He was arrested in a drug bust in January by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team.

Reports say he was found to be delivering 15 pounds of marijuana to Wisconsin, and a search of his home found a total of seventy–two marijuana plants.

He will be sentenced in U.S. District Court on December 15th.
