DNR Re-Opens Baraga County Lake Access Space

Baraga, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The DNR has reopened the boating access site at Parent Lake in Baraga County.

The access site had been closed since Monday for an improvement project.

Crews replaced the concrete ramp, resurfaced the parking lot and reinstalled a courtesy pier.

Parent Lake is situated just south of U.S. 41, about 12 miles south of L’Anse.

The total cost of the project was estimated at $4,000.
