Door County, WI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Federal investigators are looking into the crash of a small plane last night in a Wisconsin state park on the Door County Peninsula that killed two people.
Authorities responded to the crash of a private Cessna 182 airplane at the Peninsula State Park near Ephraim in Door County around 9:30pm, central time.
It is believed that the plane crashed about an hour earlier.
The pilot was identified as 69-year-old Ralph Keller of Sister Bay, Wisconsin and La Grange Park, Illinois.
The passenger was 16-year-old Olivia Dahl, of Sister Bay, Wisconsin.
Reports say Keller was returning Dahl, who was a flying student, to Door County from Green Bay when the crash occurred.
