Four Hurt In Two Gladstone Weekend Traffic Crashes

Gladstone, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Gladstone Public Safety officers responded to a pair of traffic accidents Saturday evening.

The first accident happened just after 5:00 p.m. when a vehicle failed to stop for a stop sign on North Bluff Drive in Gladstone and hit a vehicle traveling on M-35, causing one of the vehicles to roll over.

Both drivers were taken to St. Francis Hospital for their injuries.

While that accident was being investigated, the other two-vehicle accident happened at the intersection of US-2 and South Hill Road.

Officers say a northbound vehicle on US-2 failed to stop for a red light.

That vehicle struck another car going across the intersection.

Those drivers were also taken to St. Francis Hospital for treatment.

A Manistique woman was then cited for Failure to Stop at a Red Light. No names have been released.
