Three Arrested In WI-MI Drug Investigation

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Three people have been arrested following a joint drug investigation along the Michigan-Wisconsin border.

Arrested were a 46-year-old man from Othello, WA, a 33-year-old-man from Iron Mountain, MI, and a 36-year-old woman from the Kingsford, MI area.

They have been charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, over 50 grams, and were lodged in Marinette County, WI Jail pending formal charges.

Two of the three were also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities had received a tip about a man traveling to Milwaukee who was to be picked up and transported to the Kingsford/Iron Mountain area with an unknown amount of Crystal Meth.

The suspect vehicle left the Iron Mountain area around 10:45 AM central yesterday and was subsequently stopped in the Crivitz, WI area at approximately 7:11 PM.
