Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – 110th District State Representative Scott Dianda has introduced a House Resolution calling on the Michigan Public Service Commission to create an U.P.-wide energy plan.
Dianda says following energy issues recently in the U.P., the MPSC should create a plan meeting energy objectives and customer needs for reliable and long-term service in the region.
The Calumet Democrat says the plan is needed to get a handle on U.P. energy issues and the MPSC is best suited for that task.
He adds that the plan could identify the pros and cons of all available energy resources and better inform stakeholders of available energy options.
