St. Ignace, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – One person was killed in a head-on traffic crash on US-2 last night in Mackinac County.
Authorities say an Appleton, Wisconsin woman was killed when her vehicle went out of control while passing another vehicle near Naubinway around 7:00 p.m.
Her vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming semi truck.
The driver of the semi received minor injuries.
No names have been released.
The Mackinac County Sheriff’s Office says roads were snow-covered and slippery at the time of the crash.
