Gwinn School Board Selects Superintendent

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Gwinn school district has selected a new superintendent.

At a special meeting last night, the Gwinn school board interviewed Iron Mountain Public School Superintendent Tom Jayne, a former Vice Principal and Athletic Director at Gwinn High School.

Following the interview, the board voted to offer Jayne the position of superintendent effective July 1st.

The board recently voted to not continue the contract of current superintendent Dru Milliron after his one-year probationary contract expires on June 30th.
