Ishpeming Meth Bust Suspects Arraigned

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Two suspects arrested in a weekend a drug bust in Ishpeming have been arraigned.

    51-year-old Gerald Humphreys Jr. and 39-year-old Bradley Helsten, both of Ishpeming, are charged in connection with the discovery of components of a meth lab at a residence on Saturday.

    Ishpeming Police and Marquette County Sheriff’s Deputies executed the search at the residence on the 700 block of Cleveland Avenue.

    The two have both been charged with one count each of conspiracy to commit delivery or manufacture of meth or ecstasy, delivery or manufacture of meth or ecstasy and operation or maintaining a meth lab.

    Each count is a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
