Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The U.P. Regional Blood Center, a service of UP Health System – Marquette, is currently in a critical need of O-negative, A-negative and B-negative blood types throughout the Upper Peninsula.

The need is highest in the Marquette, Escanaba, Hancock and Sault Ste. Marie areas.

All blood donated at the U.P. Regional Blood Center stays in the U.P. You can donate in Marquette at the Blood Center at 427 West College Avenue adjacent to the hospital.

To schedule an appointment call 225-4610. You can also donate at Blood Centers in Escanaba, Hancock and Sault Ste. Marie.
