Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Michigan Department of Transportation is starting a few projects around the U.P. today.

In Crystal Falls, a concrete repair project on US-2 from Park Street to County Road 424 will result in a short detour for eastbound traffic.

The project is expected to be complete in about two weeks.

M-DOT is also installing new traffic lights at the US-2 interchange with I-75 in Saint Ignace.

Occasional lane closures will be put into effect there as the project continues.

It is expected to run through mid-June. And night time lane closures will go into effect at the International Bridge in Sault Ste. Marie as part of a continued toll plaza reconstruction project.
