MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Maryka Biaggio, Author of “Parlor Games”, an historical novel based on the true story of U.P. native May Dugas, joined The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to discuss her work and preview a book signing in Marquette.

Biaggio says “Parlor Games” is a sweeping historical novel about a beautiful con artist whose turn-of-the-century escapades take her around the world as she’s pursued by a Pinkerton Agency detective. The novel opens in 1917 with Dugas, standing trial for extortion in Menominee.

As the trial unfolds, May tells her version of events. As the narrative bounces back and forth between the trial and May’s story.

Biaggio will appear on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Snowbound Books in Marquette.  Books will be for sale at the store, and she will be available to sign copies.
