Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Dave Stensaas, organizer of tomorrow night’s John Lennon Night in Marquette, is very pleased and excited that the event is now an annual activity that remembers a musical and cultural icon for a good cause.

Stensass joined The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt and Mike today to spread the word about the event, which is scheduled from 5:45 pm to midnight tomorrow (SAT) at the Ore Dock Brewing Company in downtown Marquette.

He said the idea for the show came to him based on a similar event he used to take part in when he lived in Indiana a few years ago, and now that the success of last year’s show has spawned another one here in Marquette it shows the power of Lennon’s music to pull people of all walks of life together for a great night.

The Saturday evening show will feature live music created by local artists who were inspired by John Lennon as both a solo artist and as a member of the Beatles.

All proceeds raised will be used for feeding the hungry through UNICEF or the West Michigan Food Bank.
