K.I. Sawyer – There will be a public kickoff for the growing season at the K.I. Sawyer Community Garden on Saturday, June 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the garden in located near the corner of Lancer and Scorpion streets.
Bring seeds and plants to get started, or ask questions and meet other gardeners. Free food and refreshments will be served.
Students from K.I. Sawyer Elementary School may bring their families and their plants that were started in class to put into the school plot. Other plots will be available at a cost of $10 each for the entire season.
