Gaylord  – Saturday July 9, 2011 – 41West travels to Gaylord to sing at Impact.  The 41West band was smaller than usual.  We called it T-N-T this time;  Tom-Naomi-Todd.  Carpenter Tom Johnston of Harvey brought his extreme cymbals and played a super set on the drums.  Singer Song Writer Naomi Noordyk of Ishpeming opened with an Eva Cassidy song People Get Ready, sang brilliantly on some covers,  along with a couple of original numbers she had written.  Broadcaster Todd Noordyk of Negaunee Township directed, sang and played his Korg Keyboard. 41West or T-N-T encouraged people to honor God is all they do.

About 10 bands, comedians, www.Smile.fm talent, and a big time wrestling team participated in a Gaylord event at the Otsego County fair grounds. A massive stage and sound system was trucked up from Detroit. It was a professional premier event organized by www.smile.fm representatives. Gaylord has been a hotspot for outdoor Christian events in the past and this tradition continued this past weekend.

Naomi Noordyk received a large applause after singing her new original song

Saturday’s Live Music was presented in all forms including heavy metal, Christian Punk, brite contemporary pop, and acoustic style worship music.

One highlight of the festival was a band of big time wrestler type athletes that bent 3/4 inch steel bars over their heads, broke baseball bats,  and ripped phone books apart.  Stand Ministries focused on a positive values based message.

Look at these athletes from Detroit. They presented powerful testimonies

Stand Minsitries were very entertaining and shared Christian Values

The emphasis of Impact was on reconnecting with God and living out moral values and daily living out a Christian life.

Simle.fm helped bring this very nice stage to Gaylord
