Don’t exercise the wrong way. Too many people head to the gym with no clue on how to perform the work to maximize the effort.
One of the simplest and most effective gym moves designed to help you lose that gut and tighten your core is called a Plank. When “Planking,” make sure you know what to do before going in.
1) Start in a push up position, bending you elbows and placing your weight on your forearms instead of your hands.
2) Your body should form a straight line from your shoulders to your toes. Do not sag or bend as you won’t reap the full benefit.
3) Contract (squeeze) your abs like you’re bracing to be punched in the gut. Squeeze your glutes and breath deeply.
4) Hold for 30 seconds (or as long as you can) Relax, repeat three times.
Strive to be able to hold the Plank for 60 seconds at a time; and you’ll be well on your way to a strong, sexy core and better health.
