Iceland…. finally!

1585

Ok. So, I promised pictures and have taken my dear sweet time deciding which to share. We had such an amazing experience! A lot of waterfalls, mountains, glaciers, architecture, and…well…adult beverages of the malty type. Let’s just say that the Icelanders know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to brewing. Wow!

I could certainly post dozens of pictures, but, I have narrowed it down to 8. Enjoy! If you would like to see more, let me know and I will happily oblige.

Icy Blue stream fed by the glacier Langjökull
Some guy I met at Gullfoss. (It’s Mark…of course)

Sun Voyager, Solfar in Icelandic, is a stunning steel sculpture on the water from in Reykjavik.

The English Pub now has a little note to add to its wall of currency.
The view from our descent into Chicago. The sun was streaming through the clouds and bouncing off Lake Michigan.
