KI Sawyer, Mich. – In this interview we sit down with Tom Casperson following the meeting held at the KI Sawyer Air Force Base on May 22nd. The meeting was very well attended with members from the community who were interested in the future of their water. Tom Casperson, known for his time as a Michigan State Senator, attended the meeting to see what we could do as a state to stop the pollution and environmental issues surrounding the Air Force Base.
The meeting was full of people who were interested to hear what the Air Force has been doing to stop the contamination of water. We also talked about The Department of Health and Human Services being the place to go regarding the contaminated areas and how it will affect your health. You can contact the Michigan Department of Health and Human services at (906)228-9691. The best way to receive information regarding the pollution issues is to attend public meetings.
