Marquette, MichiganThe Marquette Alger Reading Council announces the beginning of the annual Gift of Reading project. The public is asked to donate new books which will be given to families and adults at Christmas time and throughout the year.

We also distribute new books to youth service agencies, public health and dental centers, nursing homes, including the Veteran’s Center, Harbor House, Beacon House, the Women’s Center and many other locations. New books may be dropped off at the Peter White Library and Snowbound Books in Marquette as well at schools and school libraries in the two-county area.
