Marquette, MI – 08/29/2019 – High School football starts tonight for the Negaunee Miners! The Thursday night game will start off the Miner’s season this year beginning at 7pm. The Miners will be hitting the road this evening to head toward Iron Mountain, the home of the Mountaineers.
It was a year ago that Negaunee fell short against Iron Mountain in their home opener with a close score of 12-9. Tune into Sunny 101.9 to cheer on your team as Mark Evans and Gregg Nelson give you exciting play by play updates live over the air! Next Friday, August 6th, the Negaunee Miners will take on Calumet at home! Last year the Miners fell to Calumet 30-8 in Calumet. Another pre-game show on Sunny 101.9 starting at 6:30pm followed by a full game broadcast at 7pm.
