MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Organizers with the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, or UPAWS, are ready for their annual golf fundraiser and are looking to fill a few more slots with teams.
The annual “Tee Up for Tails” golf outing is Friday, June 22nd at the Marquette Golf Club Heritage Course and raises funds for the operation of the shelter.
UPAWS Fundraising Volunteer Karen Rhodes joined Walt & Mike on the SUNNY Morning Show today to preview the event and also chat about a few other things going on at the shelter.
