MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Manager Bill Vajda joined The SUNNY Morning Show this morning for another edition of “Table Talk” outlining the key agenda items on this Monday’s regular meeting of the Marquette City Commission.

The main discussion points on the agenda are two public hearings on planned business and residential development along Washington Street near downtown.  The properties involved are the former Taystee Bread Bakery and the former Angeli’s Food Market.

Developers have presented some plans to the city with ideas for the respective properties, and now the public hearings are being held to gather input from the public about those plans.

Also on the agenda for Monday’s meeting are appointments to a series of boards in the city as well as the final financial report for the City of Marquette for the past fiscal year.
