Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The 12th Annual Marquette Area Blues Fest features three days of world class blues on the shores of Lake Superior in the Mattson Lower Harbor Park in downtown Marquette, Michigan, September 4-6 2015.
Marquette Area Blues Society President Mark Hamari joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to preview this Marquette Labor Day Weekend tradition.
Hamari explained that once again, the festival will kick off with a free concert on Friday night as a “Thank You” to all of the support from the community.
He added that the free show is sponsored by Honor Credit Union & Ore Dock Brewing Company and the gates open at 5:00pm and the music starts up at 6:00pm.
Hamari also said there will be two days of world class blues on Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th, and volunteers are needed.

Hamari said there will be a wide array of delicious foods, arts and crafts, interactive artist workshops, blues merchandise, and a fully stocked beverage tent with a great selection of local craft brews, imported and domestic favorites as well as a selection of wines.
