Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio) – This time on our ACTIVE Physical Therapy Update, we heard about a formula to follow to effectively exercise and train to maintain peak physical performance.
Physical Therapist Sarah Goupil joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about the FITT Formula.
Goupil explained that the formula is made up of four separate components that help keep a person active.
The four components in the FITT Formula are: Frequency, Intensity, Time and Type of exercise.
Goupil said the components work together with a person’s individual physical fitness and their interests to create the best plan to stay active and healthy.
She added that with all of the factors and components to consider, the staff at ACTIVE are set to assist anyone who may need physical therapy and to answer their questions.
