Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – NICE Community Schools Superintendent Bryan DeAugustine joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to discuss a bond proposal that will be going before district voters this spring.

He said the bond referendum is for a point-3 mil increase to raise funds for a $4-point-17 million project to build new gymnasiums and locker facilities at schools in the district.

DeAugustine said the plan is to put the proposal on the ballot for voters to decide in May, and if the millage is approved, groundbreaking for the project would be this summer.

He also talked about a pair of recently produced videos that are on the district website that showcase Westwood High School.
