MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – An annual opportunity to experience and learn about Native American culture, history and traditions is coming soon to Northern Michigan University.
April Lindala, Director of the Center for Native American Studies at NMU, stopped by the SUNNY Studios recently to talk about the powwow and why people should take the time to attend the event.
April explained what folks can expect to see, hear and taste when the attend the event. She also touched on the emotional and spiritual aspects of the gathering.
