Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A Candidate Forum for the Marquette City Commission is coming up this Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at Commission Chambers at the Marquette City Hall on Baraga Avenue.
Darlene Allen, Chair of the League of Women Voters of MI’s Marquette County Member-At-Large State Unit, joined the Sunny Morning Show today to preview the forum.
Allen said seven of the nine candidates that are running for two open seats on the Commission will be attending, and the other two who will not be appearing will have statements for the audience.
She added that the forum will include opening statements, audience questions and closing statements.
The public is invited to attend the forum and written audience questions will be collected and asked as time allows.
The forum will be live streamed to the local League Facebook page, and will be video recorded and posted on the website page: http://lwvdeltacounty.organd at the City of Marquette’s page at:www.marquettemi.gov/elections
