Marquette, MI – (10/16/19) – The SAIL Disability Network of the U.P. is hosting a special event next week called Absolutely Accessible Upper Peninsula.

Executive Director Sarah Peurakoski joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to share more information about the event and how you can get involved.

Peurakoski said the program is designed to bring together the general community, architects, builders, contractors and students to educate and promote accessibility throughout the Upper Peninsula.

General Admission is $25 per ticket, and lunch is included.

Peurakoski added that thanks to donations from U.P. Engineers and Architects, Inc., U.P. Construction Council, Penchura and the West End Health Foundation, there are sponsorships for students to attend at no cost.

If you are a student, please select the Student Scholarship Ticket and bring your student ID with you to the event.
