Marquette City Commission To Hear Update On Cliffs-Dow Project Tonight

Marquette, MI – (12/16/19) – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting this evening at 6:00 o’clock at Marquette City Hall.  City Manager Mike Angeli joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today for a preview of the session.

Angeli said the Commission will hear an update on the Cliffs-Dow project from members of the project team.  There will also be a public hearing and a roll call vote on changing the zoning status of the old Marquette railroad depot located at 204 South Fifth Street.

Angeli said the Commission will also be discussing a resolution to seek a Coastal Zone Management grant to increase funding for the continuing effort to fortify and bolster sections of the Lake Superior shoreline near Lakeshore Boulevard and Lakeview Arena.
