Marquette, MI – (01/28/20) – Northern Michigan University’s Department of Theatre and Dance is bringing a comedy to the stage at the Panowski Black Box Theatre in the McClintock Building that is sure to entertain.

Bill Digneit, Department Head of Theatre & Dance joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to tell us about “Significant Other”, new play by Joshua Harmon that explores the ups and downs of the modern dating world. Digneit says it’s an “unromantic romantic comedy,” about twenty-something Jordan Berman, who would love to be in love, but finds it’s easier said than done.

He added that the show has adult themes and language, and it is intended for an adult audience.  It premieres Thursday, February 13 at 7:30pm.

Tickets are $17 for the general public, $12 for NMU faculty/staff, seniors, and military, $10 for students, and $5 for NMU students with a current ID.
