The Annual Ride For Cody Is March 7th At Marquette Mountain

Marquette, MI – (02/27/20) – The Annual “Ride For Cody Day” is Saturday, March 7th at the Marquette Mountain Ski Area in Marquette. Event organizer Michelle Grunert joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to talk about the day’s activities.

Grunert said the day celebrates of the life of Cody Revord of Marquette who died at the age of 17 from injuries sustained in a snowboarding accident when he was not wearing a helmet.

She explained that the day is set up to raise money to buy helmets for those who need them and to increase awareness about wearing helmets during sports.  It all happens Saturday, March 7th at Marquette Mountain from 1:00 to 4:00pm, and all are welcome to come out.
