Marquette, MI – (03/11/20) – Northern Michigan University Men’s Hockey Head Coach Grant Potulny joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today for Wildcat Wednesday to talk about the season.
Potulny discussed the highlights and challenges of the season, which just wrapped up with a triple-overtime loss in the playoffs to Michigan Tech at home at the Berry Events Center.
He said while the loss was a bitter pill to swallow, it has served to focus him and motivate the team going into next year strong with the increased experience of the players who are returning, as well as several new recruits with high potential.
Potulny took a moment to send out a special thanks to the community for their support of the hockey team, not only in the seats at the games, but within the Marquette area throughout the year.
