Marquette, MI – (03/25/20) – The U.P. Regional Blood Center remains in a severe critical need for all types of blood, and you can still give.
Rachel Heath, Blood Coordination Coordinator with the Marquette Blood Center, joined Mark & Walt in the Morning to let everyone know that blood donation is considered an essential act and blood is an essential part of health care.
Heath explained that means healthy individuals can continue to give blood during the “Stay Home Stay Safe” order.
She added that the Blood Center says the need for blood is constant, and their centers in Marquette, Escanaba and Hancock all remain open, and blood drives are still occurring across the UP.
