Negaunee Schools Adapting To COVID-19 Building Closures And More

Marquette, MI – (04/07/20) – The Negaunee Public Schools are continuing to adapt their educational processes as the COVID-19 situation continues in Michigan.

Superintendent Dan Skewis joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today with an update on what they are doing in the district to get educational materials and projects to their students following the shutdown of all school buildings by executive order of Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

Skewis talked about the online distance learning they are offering and what options are being set up for those students and families who do not have reliable internet access.

He also shared information about the district’s food service plans and programs to continue to deliver meals to students as the shutdown continues.

Skewis discussed the district’s plans to address various events, including graduation.
