NEGAUNEE, MI – Well any thought of falling into a trap game against the Gladstone Braves on Tuesday night in Negaunee was quickly washed away as Eric Lori his a buzzer-beater three to end the first quarter to give the Miners a five point lead at the end of one.  They never looked back.  In a great overall team effort, the Negaunee Miner Boys Basketball team was able to get contributions from everybody, especially their starters.  Eric Lori & Tyler Jandron led the way as per usual with 20 & 13 respectively.  However, it the play of Robert Loy (12pts), Zane Radloff (9pts), and Jay Lori (9pts) that propelled the Miners to victory in this one.

Tyler Jandron (#14) looks to get the ball to teammate Eric Lori (#5) during Negaunee's dominating 71-57 victory on Tuesday night in Negaunee.

Be sure to tune in on Thursday Night as the Boys will head up to Marquette for a date with the undefeated Redmen.  It will be a fantastic game as Negaunee will be at full strength for this one after falling to Marquette back on December 19th by 11.  Having Eric Lori will make this one a world of difference, but we’ll see if that hostile environment will prove too much for our boys in blue.  This will be the last time we see the likes of Tyler Jandron & Eric Lori face off against that team down the road and it isn’t going to be something you want to miss out on.  Pregame will begin a little bit before seven o’clock and tip-off is scheduled for 7:20pm.  Go Miners!
