Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – One person was injured in an early morning motorcycle accident in Marquette County.
State Police at the Negaunee Post say the accident happened just after 3:30 a.m. today on Brown Deer Road off of County Road 550 in Marquette Township.
Reports say the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a tree.
The rider, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was transported to UP Health System Marquette for treatment.
His name and condition have not been released at this time, and the accident remains under investigation.
