MDOT Meetings for Michigan’s Long-Range Transportation Plan This Week

Long-range transportation plan for Michigan discussed with public at MDOT meetings this week

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Michigan Department of Transportation is hosting a series of public meetings throughout Michigan this week to obtain feedback on the state long-range transportation plan.

The plan is being revised through the year 2035. Each open house-style meeting will run from 5 to 7 p.m.

The public is invited to participate in meetings at the following U.P. locations: this evening at the Joseph Heirman University Center at Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba. Wednesday at the Lakeshore Center-Community Room at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, and Thursday at the Cisler Center at Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie.
