Marquette Public Schools to hold meeting for school goals
MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette Area Public Schools are working with the Michigan Association of School Boards to develop a comprehensive strategic plan for the District.
The plan is intended to produce four or five priority goals to be reached over the next three to five years.  School officials say they will use data, along with ideas from staff, students, and community members,  to help the Board of Education identify goals.
The district is holding three meetings about the strategic plan in the near future:
Tuesday, September 18, Bothwell Middle School – 6 p.m.
Wednesday, September 19, Sandy Knoll Elementary – 6 p.m.
Wednesday, September 26, Superior Hills Elementary – 6 p.m.
Any interested parties can attend the meetings.
