U.P. Regional Blood Center in critical need for 0-negaitive and o-positive blood all across the U.P.

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The U.P. Regional Blood Center, a service of Marquette General, is currently in critical need of O-negative and O-positive blood throughout all of their service areas in the Upper Peninsula.

The need is high in Marquette, Escanaba, Hancock, Iron Mountain and Sault Ste. Marie.  Blood Center staff are reminding residents considering donating that all blood donated at the U.P. Regional Blood Center stays in the U.P.

In the Marquette area you can donate at the Blood Center in Marquette at 427 West College Avenue adjacent to Marquette General Hospital.

There also are centers located in Escanaba, Hancock, Iron Mountain and Sault Ste. Marie.
