Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – American Transmission Company has released an operational plan covering their main investments in the region over the next 10 years.
The Wisconsin-based firm says their Transmission System Assessment calls for an investment of $3.7 to $4.5 billion in the grid that serves eastern Wisconsin and the U.P. along with portions of Illinois and Minnesota.
The company says they have identified a series of network projects as well as maintenance and other capital improvements they will be focusing on in an effort to improve reliability while responding to possible market-driven changes in the use of the grid.
