    MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Here are the latest numbers for the race for the 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. and for the races for State House in Lansing.

    These numbers are based on 100 percent of precincts accounted for around the region as of 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2012.

    Dan Benishek, Rep, is the winner of the U.S. House of Representatives District 1 this morning, Democratic candidate Gary McDowell followed close behind. Republican candidate, Frank Foster, won the Michigan House of Representative District 107 and Ed McBroom, Rep, won the Michigan House of Representatives District 108.

    The Michigan House of Representatives District 109 went to Democratic candidate John Kivela and Michigan House of Representatives District 110 went to Scott Dianda, Dem.
