Detectives say the man was a suspected meth lab operator and under surveillance. He was seen by authorities purchasing items used for the production of meth. A traffic stop was initiated by State Police from the Negaunee Post and the man was subsequently arrested.
The man is currently lodged in the Marquette County Jail and the case is under review by the Marquette County Prosecutor.
The man’s name has not been released as the investigation continues. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
