Harvey, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Chocolay Township Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of US-41 and M-28 in Harvey yesterday.
The accident happened just after noon when a southbound vehicle on US-41, driven by 20-year-old Tyler Juntunen of Lake Linden, turned to head east on M-28 and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle driven by 64-year-old Terry DeBruyn of Skandia.
Juntunen and his passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle and were taken to UP Health System-Marquette for treatment.
DeBruyn, the lone occupant of his vehicle, sought his own treatment.
Juntunen was ticketed for Failure To Yield To Oncoming Traffic.
